In 1939 the MASINI family took over one of the old "Vanni" Impruneta kilns (1681). The original Vanni old nineteenth-century models are still used today by the artisans as a base for their characteristic work, with dedication and passion.

Their production is focused on jars, bowls, vases and many garden items, all made following ancient traditions and entirely made by hand. The use of the famous "Impruneta clay" (a clay containing sand, calcium carbonate and iron oxide which gives it its distinctive reddish terracotta colour) combined with the firing to 980° degrees, ensures a piece that is durable and resists the elements. The finished product has a rustic pinkish-red colour, with a rough but compact texture.

The whole range of "MASINI" terracotta is well suited for interior decor but, because of the natural materials and natural colours, is especially adaptable as a garden accessory.
